TUCSON, Ariz. — Fire crews have beaten back a fire in the Mt. Lemmon area that was only a mile from Summerhaven.
According to the U.S. Forest Service, firefighters contained the Busch Fire near Marshall Saddle Thursday night at three to five acres in size. Crews will continue to "mop up" hot spots around the perimeter of the blaze Friday.
Video Thursday night showed helicopter, plane and ground crews battling the blaze before it could reach Summerhaven.
The Coronado National Forest is currently under Stage II fire restrictions, which prohibit campfires of any kind, discharging firearms and other places.
