A motorcyclist died while riding on Catalina Highway on Saturday.
According to a news release from Pima County Sheriff's Department, 53-year-old Jorge Marcano was traveling down the mountain at 12:30 p.m. when his rear wheel began to lose traction.
The motorcycle flipped and Marcano was ejected. He landed on the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene, the news release said.
He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
