TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - About 3,600 people will lose water service Friday night due to Tucson Electric Power construction work.
According to TEP, the utility is upgrading transmission lines as part of an ongoing project to upgrade State Highway 86. The work will cause customers living west of town to lose water service from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday.
Those living between the boundaries of Kinney Road, Drexel Road and west San Joaquin Road will be affected.
