According to the data, in Arizona, more robberies occur in Tucson has the highest robbery rates in Arizona.
In 2017 alone, a reported 1,431 robberies took place in the Old Pueblo.
The report pulls from robbery statistics in the 2017 FBI crime data.
Research across the nation reveals the following facts:
- 319,356 robberies occurred across the nation
- The most commonly used weapons in robberies were firearms and “strong-arm tactics”
- The city with the most robberies per capita was Baltimore, MD
- Of the 50 cities on our list, Boise, ID, had the lowest robbery rate
