Firefighters were working a mobile home fire Tuesday night in the 9800 block of N. El Uno Minor.
Heather Little and her family spent Wednesday cleaning up the damage from a deadly fire on the northwest side.
Little says her father 69-year-old Raymond Little died last night.
According to Brian Keeley with NW Fire, first units were met by a resident who said Little was inside the smoke-filled home.
Keeley says firefighters located a small fire near the front door.
Paramedics brought Little outside and NW Fire began life-saving efforts. He later died at the hospital.
"He was an amazing man, veteran, he fought for our country, a beloved grandfather, and father, great-grandfather," said Heather Little. "He helped numerous strangers, he put a lot of people before himself."
The cause of the fire and the cause of death is not known at this time.
