The searching for an elderly Tucson man has ended.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department says they found 89-year-old Robert Crubaugh dead in his vehicle Wednesday morning, just before noon.
A Border Patrol helicopter spotted the car in a remote desert area west of Tucson, according to the PCSD. When deputies got to the car, they found Crubaugh dead inside.
Crubaugh was last seen Aug. 4.
