TUCSON, Ariz. — A local woman finds a $140 American Girl Camille Doll on the side of the road in the Northwest side of Tucson.

Megan Finnegan is a mom of three, who use to worry during the holiday season because she couldn't afford giving her kids a lot of gifts. This year, she finally feels like she can give her kids everything they deserve, but knows not all parents can.

This is why on Sunday afternoon, after doing some last minute Christmas shopping with her husband, her heart broke when she found an American Girl Doll, in perfect condition laying on the side of the road.

"These are really nice, really expensive, sometimes personalized dolls. Somebody is missing this, this needs to get back to them... that was my immediate thought," Finnegan said.

She went home and hopped on Facebook to create a Facebook post looking for the owner.

Within an hour she said she had over 100 shares on Facebook, and now she is at over 800.

"You have to go that extra mile as a parent and when you have something like this happen it's such a bump in the road," Finnegan said. "I'm just really hoping I can get it back to the right family, the right child it belongs to and the right tree it belongs under."
