One week after arriving on the border, the military alongside Customs and Border Protection continue to fortify the border.
Last week they began placing concertina wire above the border fence and on Wednesday they closed two lanes at the DeConcini Port of Entry.

US Customs and Border Protection didn't immediately respond as to whether more lane closures are expected at DeConcini.
In a statement released on November 14, CBP referred to the readiness exercises as Operation Secure Line, an operation the Department of Defense had previously referred to as Operation Faithful Patriot.
In that statement they advised travelers to expect longer wait times with the closure of the two lanes.
The military and CBP used what look like to big steel containers to block off two lanes at the port of entry.
The troops working on the border are stationed at Davis Monthan Air Force Base.
Military officials have said their job is to assist CBP. They believe the caravan may be arriving possibly within a week.

It is not certain if people from the caravan will be arriving to Nogales, however CBP said they don't plan on removing any of the added reinforcements until after the caravan arrives.
