Expect delays in the intersection of Ft. Lowell and Alvernon from 6 a.m. through 4 p.m. while crews re-pave the intersection. The project is expected to take until July 15, 2016.
During repaving, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
About 22,000 cars use this intersection on any given day, so once those lane closures happen, you can drive down a block to use Glenn Street as an alternate.
The project is part of the $100 million five year plan to improve streets around town.
