Memorial Day weekend is upon us and if you are planning to grill some food think safety first.
Tucson Fire Captain Barrett Baker says not to wear loose clothing that could catch on fire.
Use mittens and long-handled cooking utensils to protect your hands and arms and make sure the grill is away from anything combustible.
"Plan for something bad to happen and have a hose just in case," Baker said.
One final tip: Before turning on the propane, wash it with soapy water. That was you can be alerted to leaks by the bubbles this will create.
