Meet the Chefs event offers chance to sample Tucson's finest fare

TUCSON, Ariz. — Get ready for a night of food and beer sampling that will get your taste buds screaming in delight! Meet the Chefs is Sunday, May 19th at Casino Del Sol, 5:30 to 7:30! Chefs include reigning Iron Chef Tucson Champ, Brian Smith from Maynards Kitchen and the chefs that want to battle him in this year’s Stella Artois Iron Chef Tucson competition, June 29th!

Event will be held near the pool area, on the grass near the gazebo. There will be hidden judges that will taste all the food and pick their favorite 3 samples and those chefs will move on to the public vote. We’ll also have a fan favorite voting at Meet the Chefs that will count toward whom the final 3 are.

• Chef Robert Ramos of R & R Family Kitchen & BBQ
• Chef Mary Steiger of Gourmet Girls Gluten Free Bakery/Bistro

• Chef Wendy Gauthier of Chef Chic
• Chef Javier Martinez of The Glowbal
• Chef Kyle Nottingham of Prep and Pastry/Commoner & Co
• Chef Alan Lambert of DoubleTree by Hilton Tucson at Reid Park
