PHOENIX (AP) - Maricopa County Sheriff's officials say they've arrested a man dubbed the "Pink Panther" burglar who's suspected of committing more than 40 home robberies.
They say 23-year-old Dalton Philbrick was taken into custody Friday in Sun City.
Sheriff's officials say the Phoenix resident is suspected of committing at least 40 home robberies in Sun City and Sun City West, allegedly stealing approximately a quarter of a million dollars' worth of valuables.
They say Philbrick would only steal jewelry and cash from the homes and didn't appear to sell any of the items at pawn shops.
Authorities say he also was arrested on several outstanding warrants for driving under the influence, narcotics use and possession, theft and trafficking in stolen property.
It's unclear if Philbrick has a lawyer yet.
