A 14-year-old boy was arrested Saturday night for the murder of his aunt, Maricopa County officials said Monday.
Spokesperson Calbert Gillet said it is believed the 42-year-old woman was killed in the early morning hours on Friday in Sun Lakes.
The teen was booked into the southeast juvenile detention center for first-degree murder.
Gillet said the investigation is actively being worked by their office's homicide unit.
