TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - U.S. Representative Martha McSally honored the first ever Southern Arizona Congressional Veterans of Distinction Award.
Daniel Standage, a blinded U.S. Marine veteran, won tonights award.
The second and third place runner ups are Frederick Thompson and Harry Bowen.
The award recognizes veterans in the second district, who continue to exemplify the principles at the core of our military: including duty, service and a commitment to a cause greater than any one individual.
