Police in Tempe say a 16-year-old McClintock High School student has been arrested for allegedly making threats against the school.
They say the teenager has been suspended from school.
The name and gender of the juvenile wasn't released Monday.
Police say the teen was taken into custody Sunday and is being charged with making a terrorist threat, interfering with an educational institution and use of electronic communication to terrify, intimidate, threaten or harass.
The school reported receiving the threat that resulted from a social media post on Sept. 25.
Tempe police and the Tempe Union School District investigated the threat as well as providing extensive security to the McClintock campus
