TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Mayor Jonathan Rothschild met with Tucson landlords on Wednesday to discuss the homeless veteran problem in the city.
He said by years end he wanted to make sure 1,650 homeless veterans found themselves off the streets. He spoke about resources for landlords who take vets in and thanks everyone who helped so many find a home.
Mayor Rothschild added that a final push will be needed to meet their goal of housing 1,650 veterans. As of October, 1,400 veterans have found a home.
