TUCSON, Ariz. - The Marana Police Department honors Detective Michael Torres and his battle with cancer.
Detective Michael Torres died of cancer on May 3, 2019.
Torres started his career with Tucson Police Department in 2005. He joined Marana Police Department in 2012. He served as a patrol officer, field training officer, and as a detective.
Marana Police says "he was well known in the Marana community for his tireless efforts in providing unparalleled service and unwavering protection."
