Sandario Road between Avra Valley and Twin Peaks has reopened after being closed due to flooding.
Marana Police tell KGUN9, a broken levee forced the shutdown. The roadway was closed for several hours, as crews worked to repair the levee and remove debris.
According to Sgt. Chriswell Scott with Marana PD, a vehicle was stuck but has since been removed from the water. There were no injuries in this incident.
The closure affected Marana USD bus routes, delaying pickups Monday morning. Buses are using Clayton, instead of Sandario because of the closure.
