For the second year in a row, Marana is a finalist for the All-America City Award according to a press release from Vickie Hathaway, the Interim Public Information Officer for the Town of Marana.
The award recognizes cities that are taking innovative action to engage residents in ensuring that all children are healthy and supported in education and life, according the release.
Marana is one of 20 cities that are finalists for the award.
A team of community members from Marana will present Marana’s story and programs to a panel of nationally recognized business, local government, and philanthropic leaders on June 17-19 in Denver, Colorado.
