PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a fugitive wanted on warrants in Yavapai and Gila counties has been arrested.

A U.S. Marshals Service task force took 30-year-old Seth Backus into custody without incident Wednesday morning in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale.

Backus was wanted on a probation violation warrant out of Gila County after fleeing from police in the Cottonwood area on May 30.

He's facing charges of felony flight and felony endangerment plus the felony no-bond probation violation warrant.

Backus also was wanted on four warrants out of Yavapai County accusing him of burglary, felony theft and misconduct involving weapons from a September 2018 incident.

The fourth warrant accuses him of an aggravated assault last December when Backus allegedly injured a Yavapai County detention sergeant's hand while fighting with jail staff.
