Cochise County Sheriffs are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that happened just before 1 p.m. Wednesday on near milepost 9 on Charleston Road.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and was taken to the Pima County Medical Examiners Office for an autopsy.
Officials say they believe the man was a Sierra Vista resident traveling towards Sierra Vista from Tombstone when he may have suffered from a medical issue causing the accident.
The man was driving a Yamaha Cruiser.
The Tombstone Marshal's Office closed Charleston Rd. at 1:15 p.m. so public safety personal could respond to the scene.
Charleston Rd. was reopened at 3:15 p.m.
