PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a man on a motorized bicycle has died after colliding with a pickup truck.
Det. Luis Samudio says the bicycle and truck collided Monday morning.
Investigators say 51-year-old Johnny Lee Nero was approaching an intersection on his bicycle when he failed to stop at a stop sign. He went into the intersection and was struck by the truck.
Nero was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The 35-year-old man driving the truck was not injured. Police say he stayed at the scene and was cooperative.
Samudio says there are no signs that impairment was involved.
