A 27-year-old man died from injuries he got when he fell off of a moving pickup truck in Sierra Vista early Saturday morning.
Charley Troy Johnston climbed out of the pickup while it was moving and then fell off of the top of the truck.
Officials from the Sierra Vista Police Department say alcohol was found to be a determining factor in the incident.
Police say the driver and another passenger of the truck tried to help Johnston until responders arrived at the scene.
When medical services personnel arrived they attempted life-saving measures and transported Johnson to a trauma center in Tucson. He was later pronounced dead.
The investigation into this incident is on-going.
