One man is dead after a single vehicle accident that occurred on Interstate 10 between Avra Valley and Twin Peaks Roads Saturday morning.
According to Brian Keeley with Northwest Fire, the vehicle struck the center dividing cables causing significant damage to the driver's side front end of the passenger car.
The man was transported to a local hospital in life-threatening condition and later died after his condition deteriorated.
DPS troopers are continuing to investigate this incident.
