A 38-year-old man is dead after a hit-and-run on Saturday night just after 7 p.m.
Tucson Police say Troy Allen was found lying in the road near S. Alvernon Way and S. Contractors Way. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives with the TPD Traffic Unit say it appears Allen was hit by a car just north of the intersecting roads.
The person who found Allen stayed at the scene to talk to police but did not witness the hit-and-run.
