Anontio Jerel Moore was convicted Tuesday of stabbing his girlfriend to death in March 2014. He was found guilty of first degree murder, domestic violence in Pima County Superior Court.
According to the Pima County Attorney's office, Moore stabbed his live-in girlfriend, Kathleen Deluche, 55 times with a long sword after she locked him out of their apartment. He snuck in and chased her throughout the house with the sword as she tried to escape.
Her 3-year-old son was there at the time and was left alone with the body for eight hours. He told a neighbor that Moore was the killer.
Moore will be sentenced Nov. 7.
