Steven Craig Mohl has been convicted of sexual conduct with a minor, according to a news release from the Pima County Attorney's Office.
Officials say that on Thursday a jury found Mohl guilty on three counts of Sexual Conduct with a Minor Under Fifteen, Molestation of a Child and Child Abuse.
PCAO says Mohl sexually abused a young female relative on two separate occasions when she was six or seven-years-old.
After the abuse, Mohl had threatened to kill her if she told.
PCAO says the victim reported the abuse to a counselor in 2014.
Mohl's sentencing hearing is scheduled for September 30.
