A jury has convicted a Pima County man after he broke into a midtown home and tried to steal a pair of women's underwear, according to a news release from the Pima County Attorney's Office.
On September 14 a jury found Hector Manuel Guerrero Sr. guilty of Burglary in the Second Degree.
PCAO says Guerrero gained access to the victim's home by throwing a brick through the kitchen window. The victim was home during the incident and called 9-1-1 while hiding in a shed on their property.
Guerrero took a pillowcase from the home and filled it with jewelry and a pair of women's underwear before he tried to leave out the backdoor.
Officers from the Tucson Police Department arrived as Guerrero was leaving the residence with the pillowcase in hand.
