An Arizona man accused of helping plan an attack on a Prophet Muhammad cartoon in Texas has lost his second bid to get evidence against him thrown out of court.
A judge on Tuesday rejected Abdul Malik Abdul Kareem's request to bar prosecutors from using against him al-Qaida promotional materials that were found on his laptop and an attached flash drive during a 2012 search of his apartment.
Kareem has said the flash drive wasn't his.
Two weeks ago, Kareem lost a bid to get evidence thrown out from his police interview two days after the Texas attack.
Authorities say Kareem provided the guns used in the May 3 attack and conspired to provide support for the Islamic State group.
His lawyer has said the case was trumped up.
