A 50-year-old Green Valley man was bitten twice by a rattlesnake Tuesday evening.
Santa Rita Fire District responded to the call of a snakebite at about 7:10 p.m. near Desert Bell Drive and La Cañada Drive, according to a social media post from SRFD.
The man was bitten on his lower leg and his foot, the post said.
He was transported to Banner University Medical Center - Main Campus for further treatment.
