GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Glendale police say a Phoenix man has surrendered and been arrested in a hit-and-run in which a 12-year-old skateboarder was seriously injured when hit by a box truck.
Police say 44-year-old Jesse Mendoza was arrested on suspicion of failure to stop for an accident involving serious injury, failure to render reasonable assistance to an injured pedestrian, driving on a suspended or revoked driver's license and tampering with physical evidence.
