35-year-old Jose Perez-Manriquez was arrested east of Douglas for entering the U.S. illegally.
While agents conducted a records check they discovered an active warrant has been issued in St. Paul back in September 2017.
Perez is being charged for immigration violation and will be sent to Ramsey County to face prosecution for fourth degree criminal sexual conduct.
