Thousands came together Sunday for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk to show their love and support for the victims and survivors of breast cancer.

The participants, all in pink, were up bright and early to walk at Kino Sports Complex.

More than 11,500 walkers showed up to support the cause.

Susan Miller walked with her husband and a group of women who also beat the disease.

"I'm walking for the ones before me, the ones walking with me today as survivors, and hopefully not for the ones in the future, because we need to find a cure for this disease," Miller told KGUN9.

Our KGUN9 team showed support at the event as well.

"We just love being a part of this. Meeting so many people that have been touched by cancer," KGUN9 anchor Stella Inger said.

More than $325,000 dollars was raised in the process.
