One "Lucky" dog was discovered following an apartment fire and saved by firefighters.
Capt. Barrett Baker, spokesperson with the Tucson Fire Department, says units responded to an apartment fire in the 9200 block of East Tanque Verde on Tuesday afternoon.
Crews entered the apartment that was filled with heavy smoke.
As firefighters searched the apartment, they found a dog in the bedroom appearing completely lifeless, said Baker.
Firefighters brought the dog out and administered high flow oxygen using a pet oxygen mask and the dog came around after several minutes.
Captain Avram and Eng. Scott Oppel were able to save Lucky.
