Low cost vet care rolling out for the holidays

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Visits to the vet for your pet can put a financial strain on owners, but there's a low-cost option that's coming to Tucson for the holidays.

Dr. Kelly's Mobile Vetis making stops and offering services that are more affordable. Dr. Kelly’s offers a variety of services like spay and neuter surgeries, mass removals, dental care, microchipping, vaccinations, and some other surgeries. The van is equipped with hospital-grade surgical equipment.

“The cost of owning a pet can sometimes be a bit difficult when other bills are piling up or when something unexpected happens like a loss of a job or an illness in the family,” said Kristen Hassen, Director of Animal Services. “We are grateful for groups like Dr. Kelly’s Mobile Vet who can help people on a budget take care of their pets.”

Costs for services range from $10 to around $800. If you are interested in having your pet seen on one of the days, you must fill out a form.

It will be parking at PACC in the overflow parking lot on the following dates:
