TUCSON, Ariz. — Tax season is underway and one local program is offering free assistance.
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program through United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona provides free tax preparation from IRS-certified preparers to individuals and families earning up to $66,000 annually.
You can set up a session for in-person tax prep or use Valet VITA to have your documents scanned, and then pick up the completed return at a later date.
