A big surprise for one well deserving family as a local landscaping company surprised them with a makeover today.

The Caruso family was under the impression that their grandmother was treating them to McDonald's on Tuesday morning.

Instead, they received balloons, presents, and a big surprise.

All Terrain Landscaping Creations has chosen the Caruso family to receive a $15,000 backyard makeover.

Kelly Caruso entered her daughter's story into a backyard giveaway contest.

2-year-old, Willow has congenital heart disease and several other heart defects and vision issues. In Willows short life she's had three heart surgeries and will need more in the near future.

"She's super brave, amazing and fun," says Kelly. "she just loves adventure and doesn't let any of her illnesses slow her down."

But her illness does affect her 5-year-old sister, Olive.

Often the family is in isolation, and they have to be careful about germs spreading to Little Willow.

While they utilize their backyard - it's very small.

Willow's story touched the heart of David Ormsby, President of All Terrain Landscape Creations.

"It sounds like Willow in her short years has had it pretty tough," says Ormsby.

Ormsby chose the family with hopes of changing their lives going forward.

The design is a surprise, but it will include the entire family.

Planning takes about a month and then the makeover begins.
