Transit riders can load $25 on a SunGO card for only $20.
If passengers pay at the farebox with money loaded on a SunGO card, the charge is lower than paying with cash. With money loaded on the card, full-=fare passengers pay only $1.50 per trip to ride Sun Tran, Sun Link, and Sun Shuttle routes.
Paying with cash costs $1.75 per trip to ride select Sun Tran and Sun Shuttle routes, cash is not accepted on the Sun Link streetcar.
A new SunGO card costs $2, but those who register their SunGO will receive $2 in value loaded to their cards.
