LivingSocial will close its Tucson office in May, laying off 120 workers.

According to spokeswoman Sara Parker, the closure is part of the transportation of customer service function to an outsourced solution.

The office, at 250 S. Williams, will close May 16.

"We gave notice today to all of the employees at our Tucson office that we will be shutting down the office on May 16, 2016," Parker said. "This affects all of the employees associated with that office the same, including those on leave of absences."

The company, which slashed 200 jobs in 2012 and 2014, is headquartered in Washington, D.C. The company laid off 50 Tucson workers in October.
