Arizona lawmakers are taking Tucson mail delays to the federal government.

Two state senators as well as seven representatives wrote a letter to congressional leaders relating to mail delivery delays in Arizona.

The letter focuses on mail delivery delays due to the partial consolidation of the Tucson processing center.

It mentioned how even the partial closure caused delays for crucial mail including veterans medication and benefits.

The Arizona lawmakers asked the government to look at economic impact data before making any changes to postal service.
