Large group of immigrants turn themselves in to BP agents

U.S Customs and Border Protection said 121 immigrants turned themselves in to Ajo Station Border Patrol agents on Sept. 9 near Senita Basin, north of Lukeville.

The group was made of 111 adults and children from Guatemala and 10 from El Savador.

A few short days earlier, on Sept. 4, agents ground 163 immigrants who entered the country illegally several miles west of Lukeville's Port of Entry.
