A woman is in custody after a three-vehicle crash just north of Tucson left a young boy in her car seriously injured.
Kayla Beeson, 25, is facing DUI charges after investigators with the Pima County Sheriff's office say she ran a red light at the intersection of La Cholla Boulevard and Ina Road Sunday. A 4-year-old boy riding in her car was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Deputies say a woman in another car involved in the crash was also seriously hurt, but is expected to be OK.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department booked Beeson for aggravated DUI, aggravated assault and criminal damage to property.
