TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Great news for swim loving families!

Tucson Parks and Recreation wants kids to beat the heat and cool off at one of the 17 city pools for free.

Beginning July 17, kids ages 17 and under will pay no admission fee. The free swimming will remain in effect for the remainder of the summer season.

A fee will still be charged at the Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center pool. Fees are $2 for adults (18 and over) and $1 for youth (17 and under).
