Kick Cancer for Stephen Foundation donates TVs to Ronald McDonald House

Posted

A Tucson couple spent their Saturday morning at the Ronald McDonald House to give back to their community.

The Ronald McDonald House was refurbishing their rooms and wanted to put TVs inside each room for the kids.

The Kick Cancer for Stephen Foundation was approached to help provide the 27 desired televisions.

France Placencia from Stephen's Foundation said, "The amenities here at the Ronald McDonald House are amazing, so being able to provide that and give back is such a good feeling, and to know that we're doing it in Stephen's honor and help keep his spirit alive."

Stephen is there son, who battled a rare liver cancer. His family says he always saw the need for different activities in a hospital because there wasn't much for kids to do.

That's what inspired his parents to start the foundation in his honor.
