A reminder to make sure you show up for your jury summons after 14 people were fined $300 each for failing to show up in federal court.
All of them were asked to explain why they missed their appointed dates, but none could show good cause.
Last month, 30 people in Phoenix were fined for the same reason.
Remember, if you fail to appear for your summons, you could face a fine of up to $1,000, be jailed for three days and be ordered to do community service.
