An Arizona judge has raised the bail to $1 million for a Nevada man accused of using an armored vehicle to block a bridge near the Hoover Dam last month.

Matthew Wright is being held on felony counts of terrorism, aggravated assault, misconduct involving weapons and unlawful flight from a pursuing law enforcement vehicle in connection with the June 15 incident.

The 30-year-old Wright, of Henderson, surrendered to authorities on the Arizona side of the bridge after a 90-minute barricade situation that stopped traffic on the main highway between Las Vegas and Phoenix.

Authorities say a rifle and handgun were later found in the armored vehicle.

Wright's bond originally was set at $25,000 and his public defenders sought to lower it.

A judge ruled Tuesday the bail was too low.
