According to a Facebook post on the Islamic Center of Tucson's page they say an unknown arsonist set one of their two recycling containers on fire Wednesday morning.
The Tucson Fire Department responded to a call about a dumpster fire near the Islamic Center just after 6 a.m.
One engine responded to the fire and the damage was contained.
In a the Facebook post the Islamic Center said they are "extremely concerned, not only because this small act of sabotage could have led to greater harm, but because of the possible Islamophobic motives behind the act."
We reached out to the Tucson Police Department for more information and are waiting to hear back.
