Twenty-five Big Boys were built in 1941, and only eight are still in existence today.

No. 4014 is the only Big Boy that is still operating, according to Union Pacific, who owns the train.

The train's journey across the Southwest began on October 2nd in Utah. After its stop in Tucson, it'll be continuing to El Paso, Texas. The final stop will be in Kansas City, Missouri on November 18th.

According to Union Pacific, the event will not be ADA accessible, due to the historic nature of the equipment.
