An I-10 rest area between Casa Grande and Phoenix is back open after undergoing renovations.
The Sacaton Rest Area now has upgraded restrooms, water lines, septic tanks, electrical and mechanical systems, and new paint.

This project is combined with another renovation underway on I-19 at the Canoa Ranch Rest Area in southern Arizona.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says the total cost for both upgrades in $4.3 million.
