Hundreds of people packed into the Tucson Convention Center for this year's Hope Fest.
The city-wide event provides basic necessities such as groceries, clothing, medical supplies, haircuts, and hygiene items to people in need.
Hope Fest is a collaboration of community groups, local government, business and people that has been happening for 25 years.
One of the event organizers calls describes the event as "Tucson helping Tucson."
Hope Fest provides more than $1.5 million worth of goods and services. Last year the event served about 12,000 people.
